Message from the Headteachers

Image of the Corsham Primary Dragon

This month is where we see Christmas "go large" at Corsham Primary!  We are looking forward to lots of performances, Christmas songs, Christmas parties and, of course, the Christmas lunch.  We are all holding our breath, wondering if we will get a visit from the Pixies this year too....

For planned absences, please complete an absence request form, available from the school office or a copy is available to print off t the bottom of our website.  If your child is ill or going to be absent from school, please telephone the office absence line before 9am and give the reason so that we can accurately record why absences occur.  Thank you.

Mount Pleasant Primary - British Legion Poppy Appeal

Thank you to everyone who donated money recently to buy poppies for remembrance day.  We raised £393.41 at Pound Pill and £308.55 at Broadwood. The total amount collected over time by Corsham Primary is currently £27,637.22.  Money will go to fund RBL's ongoing work in supporting the armed forces community serving and ex-serving personnel and their families.

Tag Rugby Tournament report from In2Sport

We had a great afternoon at tag rugby. We played 5 matches against local primaries, won 4 and lost just 1 game, so we came out as winners! The children were fantastic, worked hard, played fairly and worked brilliantly as a team, encouraging each other.

All children have gone home with a medal and the team also have a trophy and certificate to be presented in assemblies at both sites.  We would like to thank our parent helper who was brilliant and very supportive.

Well done everyone!
