Message from the Headteachers ...

Welcome to the New Academic Year!
We’re thrilled to begin another exciting year at Corsham Primary and extend a heartfelt welcome to all our new pupils—whether you're starting in Reception or joining us in the upper year groups. We are confident your time here will be filled with joy, learning, and memorable experiences.
We hope everyone had a wonderful summer break, especially with the glorious sunshine we enjoyed almost every day! As we settle into the new term, please remember to check our website regularly for the latest updates—especially the Letters Emailed Home page and the school calendar.
Our admin team is working diligently to support families with the new Arbor system for ordering and paying for school lunches. If you encounter any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school office via email—they’re always happy to help.
Behind the scenes, our premises team has been incredibly busy over the summer, transforming the school with fresh paint, serviced equipment, new kitchen installations, and various building improvements. Their dedication has ensured that classrooms are ready and welcoming for both teachers and pupils. We’re deeply grateful for their hard work while the rest of us were enjoying the holidays.
As the new term begins, we also say goodbye to two cherished members of our team. Mr Chris Morris, our fabulous caretaker at Pound Pill for the past six years, is retiring. His cheerful and tireless efforts made a lasting impact, and he will be greatly missed. We wish him a very happy retirement.
We also bid farewell to Mrs Rachael Tennant-Murphy, who has taken a new role closer to home in Trowbridge. As a Lunchtime Playworker for four years, she brought warmth and energy to the playground, and lunchtimes won’t be the same without her. We wish her all the best in her new adventure.
Finally, we extend a warm welcome to our new staff members—we’re excited to have you on board and look forward to a fantastic term filled with learning, fun, and growth.
