Eco School Councillors

Local Annual Community Meeting at Rudloe Community Centre
On Thursday 14 May, our Councillors attended a local annual community meeting at the Rudloe Community Centre. It was a great opportunity to meet other neighbourhood groups in our local area, as well as, for the councillors to share what they are doing in school with regard to their own role as Eco and School Councillors.
The Eco and School Councillors were brilliant! They were able to talk with conviction and confidence about their actions plans, including what they have done and are doing to support their responsibilities in and around school. Members of our local community were pleased to see our school represented by them and thoroughly enjoyed listening to how they are playing such an active role in their own school within the Rudloe community.
They were also given the opportunity to talk about their ideas for the green space around Rudloe and offered ideas such as: picnic tables, shared wild flower areas, swap a seed packet station, allotment areas to grow vegetables and other activities to facilitate more opportunities to be together in our community.
Mrs Parker, Mrs Mason and Mrs Ridout were very pleased and proud of how they conducted themselves.
