We really enjoyed our performances this week in 1/2 and loved the audience reactions. Year 1/2 children have also been artists this week, creating winter sky pictures by blending and smudging pastels and crayons. We loved going for a wellie walk this week to look for signs of winter. We found some evergreen trees on the field, ivy and rosehips. We know about the weather in winter and know that the days are shorter. As mathematicians, we have been looking at the properties of 3D shapes and thinking about if they stack or roll or both. As authors, we have been writing lists and letters.
