Being a Linguist – Spanish

Spanish is taught from Reception to Year 6 and over the last four years the curriculum has been embedded throughout the school successfully.  The children use Spanish words around the classroom such as learning the days and dates in Spanish as well as cross-curriculum links such as learning times tables in Spanish during Numeracy.

We believe that children learn best through practise and they particularly enjoy having brief conversations in Spanish which put words into context.
