We were delighted to welcome Sarah Gibson MP to school to talk in our assembly.  She discussed how parliament is set up and talked about the houses of Lords and Commons in London.  We were given lots of information about the variety of political parties around the UK and how democracy works.  The children learnt a great deal, and we really enjoyed having a real MP in school.
