I/2M had a great time in the woods this week during their forest school session, with a fantastic campfire; they spent a lot of time looking for minibeasts. All the 1/2 children have been very mathematical, putting numbers of resources into equal groups, and year 2’s have been developing their times table knowedge of 2s 5s and 10s.

As Authors, we have been writing about The Lion who came to Tea in drawing club and Lila and the Secret of Rain. As Geographers, we have been naming the countries that make up the United Kingdom and finding their capital cities. We have also learnt the names of the 7 continents and finding out where they are in the world. We have also been learning the names of the Oceans around the world and the seas around the United Kingdom. We have loved looking at maps and atlases to develop our knowledge.
